Job Description

​

Moovila is searching for a Backend Integration Developer to build and maintain our software integrations with outside systems. This individual will be responsible for implementing multiple integration frameworks, supporting our existing integrations, and implementing whatever is needed to monitor these integrations on an ongoing basis. 

​

The ideal candidate will have a fluency in .NET technologies, OAuth2 and other authentication mechanisms, experience in writing software systems with cloud-based API web services and microservices. 

​

In addition, this candidate must have strong business analysis and troubleshooting abilities and be able to creatively solve integration issues with an eye for ensuring data safety.​ 

​

Key Responsibilities

​

• Work with Development, Product Management, and Operations to diagnose time critical issues with client issues. 

• Coordinate with the Product Management team to prioritize development efforts 

• Perform business analysis to identify and define requirements for data flow, data transformation and synchronization of each system, based on requirements from customers, the product team and others. 

• Developing systems in a way that will allow for them to be capable of asynchronous operation, bi-directional data synchronization, utilization of messaging systems, and the ability to integrate with various authentication methods. 

 

Requirements

• 2+ years as a software engineer. 

• Demonstrated fluency in the following technologies:  

  • .NET Core, including C#, WebAPI 

  • SQL Server 

  • MongoDB 

  • Kafka 

  • OAuth 2.0

• Experience working with a distributed backend system 

• Experience integrating with outside systems via online API’s, flat files, etc. This may include utilization of existing integration frameworks as well as custom integrations for homegrown systems. 

• Experience utilizing various authentication methodologies, including OAuth2, SAML, etc. 

• Must be a critical thinker and possess strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. 

• Ability to excel and highly perform in a fast-paced environment. 

• Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
